I'm a final year PhD student in the computer science department at Stanford University, where I am advised by Professor John Ousterhout. I am part of the RAMCloud group and Platform Lab. For my PhD study, I was supported by Samsung Scholarship (2013-2018).
My research focuses on improving latency and consistency of large-scale distributed systems with the goal of enabling a new class of complex applications that operate on big data in real-time, such as social graph queries, online analytics, and machine learning. I also have a broad research interest in operating systems, database and networking.
I received a B.S. in Computer Science and in Mathematics, and a M.Eng in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from MIT in 2013. For my M.Eng thesis, I worked on the Angstrom project with Professor Armando Solar-Lezama. For my undergraduate study, I was supported by STX Scholarship (2008-2012).
I am currently on the academic job market.
